Shaping America’s Youth Network is a centralized forum dedicated to enabling all concerned parties to benefit from the lessons of their counterparts in other sectors working to reverse the health crisis of childhood obesity, and to fostering the development of the most effective tools and strategies for improving this condition.

Efforts are underway across all sectors of American society to increase activity and improve nutrition in America’s kids.  The SAY Network brings together the information acquired in these efforts in a single, focused environment.  It combines the experience, expertise, and resources of individuals and groups throughout the United States with comprehensive information on programs and funding, news and events, and publications and resources available to reduce the prevalence of childhood obesity. The Survey Data section includes the SAY Summary Report as well as what we have learned from our program survey participants.  SAY will convene a series of 21st Century Town Meetings across the country, and each one engaging between 1,000 and 1,500 people simultaneously.  Meetings will be announced through SAY Events.

With input from and interactions between all who are involved in or concerned about childhood obesity, the SAY Network will be instrumental in determining what is working and what could be done better, and ultimately in developing a community-based plan of action for improving the well-being of our country’s children.  All are invited to Join the SAY Network, keep informed and become part of the solution. About SAY provides information regarding the background of public-private partnerships and our goals for developing The People's Plan.
